Welcome to the Prevention Network Community Services information page. Prevention Network/OCAA has been serving Syracuse and Onondaga County Alcohol and Drug Prevention needs since 1949.

Over the years, we adapted to improve our ability to respond effectively to the ongoing threat and impact of alcohol and other drug abuse and dependence on our community. Fortunately, Onondaga County provides a rich offering of caring and effective alcohol and other drug treatment providers. Prevention Network directly supports community residents looking for help by maintaining an accurate listing of NYS OASAS approved alcohol and other drug evaluators and facilities, including payment options, to make certain individuals receive needed help.

All are welcome to call for a confidential conversation with a professional prevention specialist, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, or for a scheduled face-to-face consultation. If you are in the area, you are welcome to stop in between 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an impromptu meeting with a prevention specialist.
